2009 Questions

My daughters did this so I thought I would too. Makes you think!

1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?
Umm, I can't think of anything? Oh yeah, went to Jackson Hole Wyoming, and I also went to Corpus Christi, TX Um, and I saw a dead armadillo!

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I think I did. I love to make new goals. I'm a freak! I can't really remember what they were, but I usually try to make one spiritual goal, one physical goal, and one temporal goal. This year I'm going to read Jesus the Christ (spiritual), lose my 10 pity pounds (physical), and keep on truckin' with the Dave Ramsey plan (temporal).

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My Shanny had a beautiful baby girl, and also my neice Lauren had a beautiful baby boy, and my daughter Chelsea became a mommy (same thing!)

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No THANK GOODNESS!

5. What countries did you visit?
ZERO. I'm glad too. I don't like to travel "abroad" -not even to Canada. The thought of going to a country where you have to have a passport to get back in is scary to me!

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
I would like to have all of my family living close by (within a short day's trip at least). I would like to have my dad well and healthy again.

7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
May 18th, the day my little granddaughter Emilee was born, and DANG, Shan I can't remember Jovi's birthdate, but that was super awesome too. Oh, and March 18th, when I fell and broke/dislocated my shoulder. Ouch. Still dealing with that one!

Hmm, I love lots of songs from 2009 - country songs. I switched permanently to country because I can't stand VH1 music/videos anymore. They are too dark or too skanky, one or the other.
